The Neet life is the Dream life of every Otaku and this slice of life is an interesting way to live a neet life. This just so happens to be another slice of life anime that got me into the genre. Alice is a shut in neet who runs a Neet Detective agency from her bedroom anything she needs done in the outside world she has her Neet assistant and detectives to do her bidding a military enthusiast, a host, a gambler, a sister of a neet that went missing. Though one of her employees isn't a proper neet because he attending collage but only for eight year so he can read all about military tactics. Alice's office/bedroom sit above a ramen and ice-cream shop owned by a women called mien (check name spelling). There is a difference between a normal detective and a neet detective, a normal detective eardrops and goes out on stake outs and gather information on foot to find out what they are hunting for but a neet detective can search the hole world for the truth from their bedroom with out stepping out of their room. As this is a twelve episode anime I thought I would put some of my favourite quotes from the anime as the writer in me hates writing only a little on my writing subjects.
"Neet is not a stereotype. It's a way of life" - Alice
"True detective work is beyond the general masses. After all, we're advocates for the dead. We dig up what was lost to the grave and hurt the living to defend the honour of the dead. And we humiliate the dead to comfort the living." - Alice
"what do you think killed the most people in history? It wasn't explosives or drugs. It was information. To know is to die." - Alice
"There are only two professions in the whole world that give meaning to those who have died and what have been lost... They're writers and detectives. Writers are the only ones able to revive what was lost through their visions. Detectives are the only ones able to dig up the grave and bring back lost information. But the information us detectives dig up is nothing more than the truth as recorded in Heaven's Memo Pad." - Alice
